Nice day yesterday with gifts against Washington what I'm watching for today....
Golden State - Is KP now the guy or was that just playing against Washington last game? Wash gives up everything to bigs, wonder if KP usage will be overall going up or maybe just matchup.
Boston - Will Baylor continue to take the Vucevic mins? Vuce went out and Boston went even thinner with their rotation. Seems Baylor is locked in for 20 mins now, but who knows it's Mazzula and he could switch on a whim.
Oklahoma City - Will Jaylin Williams get a giant bump from no Ihart and maybe Chet? Seems like answer would be yes if Chet was out, but if he's in it's a bit more muddy.
Brooklyn - Who gets the minutes today in the likely blowout? Last game every just got 20 mins each. Now the market has no idea and is pricing every as such. Clowney seems very cheap if gets even close to 30 min.
Portland - Will they go back to starter heavy mins now that everyone is healthy? Even in the blowout last game vs Bkn, starters got a good chunk of mins. They seem to want to push for the playoffs, which looks like they are in the play in. If that's the case Deni and co seem a bit cheap.
Indiana - Who even plays for them anymore? It's pretty much everyday trying to figure out who goes.
La Clippers - Who gets the bump with Ben Mathurin out and Kawhi questionable. Darius bumped up but Collins and Jones seem pretty cheap comparatively.
New Orleans - Same questions as before, who loses out usage while everyone is healthy? Lean to the young guys Fears/Queen, but market already pricing it in. This team has become tougher to cap with everyone back.
Toronto - Are the starters locked into big mins now? Poeltl is healthy and playing big mins, as well as the rest of the starters. Would make sense to get cohesion before playoffs, and with CMB out not a ton of options off the bench. Would expect some good stats out of them.
Chicago - If Sexton comes back will he pump the brakes on Giddey going bonkers? Josh Giddey is back to 100% and playing amazing lately. We hit overs on his stuff a week or so ago, but the numbers have caught up in the market. Will it go the other way if Sexton has to have the ball in his hands as well?
Utah - Who gets the bump if Ace is out? Regardless think Flip is very cheap at this number. Last game Cody Williams was getting all the usage. About time the Jazz learned to tank correctly.
Minnesota - Without Ant and Naz will Gobert just feast inside? Julius and Bones got big bumps, but other starters not so much. Rudy should feast inside on put backs.
Dallas - Who is playing center today? Gafford/Cisse both questionable. Could be a bump for either.
Atlanta - Who gets the usage loss if Kuminga is in? Big fan of the Hawks right now, they traded away their bum Trae Young and have a functional team. With that guys like Risacher lose mins. Will that happen today?
Denver - Who gets the Gordon bump? Awesome matchup vs the Grizz, maybe worth looking at a bench guy to benefit from no Gordon but could also play into the blowout. Strawther perhaps.
Memphis - Who gets the mins today? Seems like blowout so curious who will get the bigger mins. Coward kinda seems cheap to me.
La Lakers - Which role player steps up? This could be a question for the rest of the year. Who besides the big 3 actually gets usage? I liked the Kennard but seemed he's fading in the rotation for Marcus Smart.
Houston - What does the rotation look like with every back healthy? Sheppard only got 24 mins in the last real full rotation game, but they need his shooting would expect more Shepp around 28 min, along with the full starters. Some cheap numbers in this one, Shepp/Sengun ast, not sure what I want to hit yet.
Good luck on the games today!
