Thursday 12/18 Write-Ups
Julian Champagnie
I think he's being underpriced due to the presence of the full lineup. He's still just as likely to get 27 minutes as Barnes who starts over him and even at a projection of 25 minutes, we still like this closer to 9.5.
Isaiah Joe
No player in the league benefits more from their team blowing out the opponent more than Joe. He's averaging 7 more ppg in games the Thunder win by 15+ pts this season and they're currently listed as -17.5 favorites vs a reeling Clippers squad without James Harden.
Myles Turner + Ryan Rollins
Let's knock these teammates out together bc the analysis on both of them is similar. Turner is just plain uninvolved these days and is more likely to play 24 minutes than he is to play 30 without Giannis. The Raptors limit C&S points to the tune of the second best defense in the NBA and Myles ain't doin much but shooting from distance these days. He's also down to 2.6 rebs per game over his last 8 games, all of which he's failed to cover.
Rollins has seen his touches drop dramatically since KPJ came back to the rotation. Even if his touches were high still, he'd have to come back down to earth at some point from the 58% FG he started out shooting this season. His ast are also incredibly hot, pulling off 6+ ast per game over his lasts 10 despite only 8 potential ast per game. TOR's defense is highly underrated and 3rd best in the league over the last 15 games.
Kel'el Ware
After some digging with Swish and reading a few other MIA new outlets, it looks like Ware might actually get the start tonight. Either way, there's a realistic world in which he plays 30 minutes tonight. We have him projected for closer to 28 or so, but even in 26 minutes, he should be much closer to a 10.5 reb projection than 8.5.
Isaiah Collier
Isaiah Collier Time has finally returned to us! It's been a minute since we could bet on IC since Hardy had basically removed him from the rotation for a few weeks. Well, now that the Jazz are beginning their journey back to Tanksville, USA, Collier can be relied upon to get back up to 20 or so minutes. And you already know our guy is a walking ast, averaging 6 ast /12 potential ast per 20 minutes.
