Sunday 12/14 Write-Ups:
Another Note From Me
I'm still working to get as many bets as I can down. Write ups for the early games are harder to come by with such tight windows, but I should be better prepared for the later games today. The next batch of games after the 3:30pm EST start for Cavs vs Hornets is 6:00 pm EST.
Vucevic / Collins / Smith
I'm leaning into the notion that Vooch is on his way out and that the Bulls are splitting the Center minutes between him and Collins damn near evenly at this point. Jalen Smith is also played at the same time as Collins for about 5-6 minutes last game and dominated the rebs, pushing Collins out to the 3PT line where he went 2-3 from deep.
In 3 games with Collins, Vooch has averaged 24 minutes per game, down from his normal 30 per game before Collins got healthy. He's only played one game with both Collins and Smith, that was last game vs CHA, and he saw 24 minutes despite it being a close game the whole time. I've been eyeing this idea for awhile and I think this is one of the last games that we'll see Vooch lined as though he's playing 28+ minutes.
As for Smith in general, he's averaging 6.6 rebs when he plays at 15-19 minutes because he's a psychopath who just focuses on the rim. With Collins out there at the same time as him, he's at 12.6 rebs per 36 minutes. It's a small sample size to be sure, but it helps me feel confident that they will still get stats when they play at the same time.
Nic Claxton
The Nets have been playing through Claxton, leadig to 4.5 ast per game. This is an awesome low spot in the market unless you don't think he's playing 28+ minutes for the first time in 6 games. That game was a b2b as well and the Nets have been restig him all season in those spots, spotting him 4 fewer minutes per game on the second night. This is not a b2b and it's also a winnible game vs the undermanned Bucks. He's averaging 14.5 RA per game when he's in there for 28-35 minutes.
