TNF Bets Week 7

Joe Flacco o23.5 Completions (-118 DK)

Andrei Iosivas o1.5 Rec (+100 FD)

Special Teams Prop: Both Teams Make 33-yard or longer FG (-110 DraftKings)

Joe Flacco O 23.5 Completions (-118 DraftKings)

Playable to -120

Unlike Flacco's last team, the Bengals have no shot to run the ball consistently. Even with the Browns, Flacco was dropping by 40 times per game and dinking and diming to the tune of a 3.5 adjusted air yards per attempt. The Steelers run defense has improved vastly over their past three games and teams are throwing at the highest rate (69.7%) against them, for a low 5.4 YPA. Dillon Gabriel just went 29-for-52 at 3.5 YPA against Pittsburgh. Flacco went 29-for-45 in his Bengals debut on a short week. He has a better chance to pick up first downs at home with a little more time to prepare.

Andrei Iosivas O 1.5 Receptions (+100 FanDuel)

Playable to -105

Great odds here given how much playing time Iosivas has been getting, with 90% of the snaps and 90% route participation over his last three outings. He's played the 7th-most snaps out of the slot and Flacco loves to target slot receivers with short passes. Iosivas caught 1 of 4 targets last week, but all three incompletions were deemed catchable. He caught 5 of 9 targets from Jake Browning the previous week as a garbage-time star. Jalen Ramsey is technically Pittsburgh's new slot corner, but he's physically a better matchup for Tee Higgins or Ja'Marr Chase, so I don't think the Steelers use him on Iosvias much.

Special Teams Prop: Both Teams Make 33-yard or longer FG (-110 DraftKings)

Chris Boswell might be the best kicker in the AFC. He's 28-for-32 on kicks of 40-plus yards since the start of last season and Mike Tomlin didn't hesitate to call for field goal attempts last week with the Steelers in control of a division game against Cleveland. Boswell attempted 17 field goals in 6 games against AFC North opponents last season. Bengals kicker Evan McPherson has crazy leg and they let him try a 67-yarder in Green Bay last week. He missed that one but is 5-for-6 on 30-plus yard kicks this season. With Flacco running the offense, I'd expect the Bengals to move it well enough to get into field goal range, but lack aggression and settle for a field goal or two.
